Hi,

The Gephi Team is pleased to announce our candidature to the Google Summer of Code 2009 !

I want to be one of your Google Summer of Code students, what should I do...
Here is a quick list of things to do to get you started :

1 - Create an account on Launchpad.
2 - Create an account on the gephi.org forum and introduce yourself. We will not give formal interviews, but we will clearly favor people we have learnt to know during the selection process.
3 - Fill the questionnaire on this page: List of questions to answer and send it in plain text to gsoc@gephi.org. If you're intrested in working on our suggestions, please describe how you would do that.
4 - For working on Gephi you have to be able to compile trunk. To do so you should have a look at pages How to get Gephi, How to build Gephi and/or How to set Gephi in Eclipse.
5 - Once you have everything done here and think your idea is okay, go to page at google to submit your application. You have to submit it before April 3 (timeline) or you have no chance to get in!

List of Ideas for the Project (Suggestions from developers)

Three proposals for now:
1 - Shader Engine
2 - Network algorithms and statistics
3 - Vectorial Preview
