public interface LayoutController
A LayoutController is the one responsible for controlling the states of
the LayoutModel. It always controls the current workspace model.
This controller is a singleton and can therefore be found in Lookup:
LayoutController lc = Lookup.getDefault().lookup(LayoutController.class);
